Optrel Liteflip Autopilot Welding Helmet

Optrel Liteflip Autopilot Welding Helmet

The Optrel Liteflip Autopilot is a premium flip-up auto-darkening welding helmet designed for welders who want fast transitions between welding, grinding, setup, and inspection without removing their hood.

It features Optrel’s fully automatic Autopilot shade system, which continuously adjusts lens darkness based on arc conditions—eliminating the need for manual shade selection.

This helmet is built for professional fabrication, maintenance welding, and multi-process work environments where speed, visibility, and comfort matter.

Key Features

Fully Automatic Autopilot Shade Control

The Liteflip Autopilot automatically adjusts shade levels in real time based on welding arc intensity and ambient light conditions, operating across a range of shade 5 to 14 (active mode) with no manual adjustment required.

It also includes a ±2 shade correction, allowing fine-tuning to match user preference.

Flip-Up Front Design

A key feature of this helmet is its flip-up welding lens, allowing the user to quickly switch between:

  • Clear viewing for grinding, fitting, and inspection
  • Darkened auto-shade mode for welding

This improves productivity in multi-step fabrication workflows.

True Color Vision

Provides high-contrast, true-color viewing with reduced green/blue tint, improving weld puddle visibility and material definition.

FadeTronic® After-Glow Control

Controls the transition from dark to light after welding, allowing a smoother return to clear vision and reducing eye strain.

Grinding Mode

Enables a bright, clear viewing state for grinding and prep work without removing the helmet or switching gear.

Comfort Headgear System

Designed for long shifts with:

  • Balanced weight distribution
  • Reduced neck strain
  • Adjustable ergonomic fit

Sensitivity & Delay Controls

  • Adjustable arc sensitivity (including high-sensitivity TIG mode)
  • Delay settings to control return-to-light timing
  • Optimized for low-amp TIG and high-amperage MIG work
